Student Assistance Program (SAP)

The Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a voluntary, school-based initiative for K-12 students designed to identify and support students facing barriers to learning, such as mental health issues or substance abuse. SAP teams (staff/liaisons) help students overcome these, aiding academic success, with referrals often made by staff, parents, or a SAP Referral Form.
